The Plus 4 is a 305 × 305 × 280 mm enclosed CoreXY with a 370 °C hotend, 120 °C bed, 65 °C actively heated chamber and 600 mm/s. It is the mid-size engineering-filament machine in Qidi’s range: PA-CF, PET-CF, PC and PPS-CF at a price below Bambu’s H2 series. Qidi now sells the Plus 5 Combo (320 × 320 × 300 mm, multi-colour) and Max 4 (390 × 390 × 340 mm) above it.

What 65 °C and 370 °C unlock
The combination covers the filaments a 300 °C passive-enclosure printer cannot: PA6-CF and PA12-CF without cracking, PC without warping, PPS-CF and PPA-CF for heat-resistant parts. See PA-CF. It also makes ABS and ASA at 305 mm routine. PLA needs the door open or the heater off.
Owner-reported issues
- Early units had a chamber heater wiring recall; Qidi shipped a fix. Check that a used unit has it.
- Bed probing is nozzle-contact; a dirty tip gives a bad first layer.
- Spares and mods are improving but thinner than Creality or Bambu; see Plus 4 upgrades.
Against the alternatives
The Creality K2 Plus is bigger (350 mm) with a 60 °C chamber and 350 °C hotend and native 16-colour CFS; see the K2 Plus page. The Bambu H2S is 340 × 320 × 340 mm at 65 °C and 350 °C with the most polished software, not on Amazon US and at a higher price. The Plus 4 wins on nozzle temperature and price.

FAQ
Can it print PEEK? Not reliably; PEEK wants over 400 °C and a hotter chamber.
Is the Qidi Box a dryer? Check the listing; treat it as a feeder with storage unless drying is stated.
