Short answer

The K2 Plus is Creality’s large enclosed CoreXY: 350 × 350 × 350 mm, 350 °C hotend, 120 °C bed, 60 °C active chamber, 600 mm/s and 30000 mm/s², with the CFS feeding 4 spools per unit and up to 16. It competes with the Bambu H2S and Qidi Plus 4 on materials and beats both on bed size. Buy the Combo if multi-colour is the point; otherwise the single unit and a hardened nozzle.

What it is good at

  • Engineering filaments at size. Nylon, PC, ASA and fibre blends on a 350 mm bed with the chamber at 60 °C. This is the reason to buy it over a K1 Max.
  • Multi-colour at scale. Four CFS units for 16 colours is more than the Bambu AMS stack allows on a single printer.
  • Open firmware. Klipper underneath, with root access for owners who want it.

Weak points reported by owners

  • CFS reliability varies with filament brand; non-RFID spools need manual entry and can mis-feed if the spool edge is rough.
  • PLA in a warm chamber shows stringing and soft overhangs; print PLA with the door open and chamber heat off.
  • Large heated bed means longer warm-up and a real power draw; run it on its own circuit.

Against the alternatives

The Bambu H2S has a smaller 340 × 320 × 340 mm bed, a 65 °C chamber and a more polished software stack, and is not sold on Amazon US. The Qidi Plus 4 is 305 × 305 × 280 mm with a 65 °C chamber and 370 °C hotend at a lower price. The K2 Plus wins on volume and on 16-colour capacity; see K1 Max vs K2 Plus for the step down.

The units in the box

The listings are the K2 Plus Combo with one CFS and the K2 Plus alone.

FAQ

Do K1 Max plates fit? No; the K2 Plus uses a 350 mm plate.

Can it print PPA or PEEK? PPA and PPS-CF yes with a hardened nozzle; PEEK needs higher temperatures than 350 °C.

Can I add CFS later? Yes; sold separately and connects through the top.
