What this site is
LayerWalker publishes reference and troubleshooting information about 3D printing. It is not a support service, not a warranty provider, and not a substitute for your machine’s own documentation.
Use at your own risk
The procedures described here involve equipment that reaches temperatures above 250 °C, that may be connected to mains voltage, and that contains motor-driven moving parts. Resin processes involve chemicals that are skin and respiratory sensitisers.
You are responsible for deciding whether a procedure is safe for you to carry out on your machine. If you are not confident working on a live or hot machine, do not. Assess your own competence, your machine’s condition and your working environment before following anything here.
No warranty
Content is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and correct errors when they are found, but we make no warranty that:
- any procedure will resolve your problem
- any part listed will fit your machine
- any figure quoted is correct for your specific hardware, firmware or material
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss or damage arising from use of this site, including damage to equipment, wasted material, or loss of a print.
Your machine’s warranty
Opening, modifying or repairing a printer may void its manufacturer warranty. Some machines detect and log component changes. Check your warranty terms before following any procedure here that involves disassembly, and prefer the manufacturer’s own service channel while a machine is still covered.
Compatibility information
Fitment tables reflect our best understanding at the time of writing and are marked “not verified” where we have not confirmed a combination. Manufacturers also revise hardware without changing a model name. Confirm compatibility with your supplier before purchasing, particularly for nozzles, hotends and build plates, where similar-looking parts are not interchangeable.

Links to other sites, including retailers, are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their terms, their prices or their products. Following an external link takes you outside the scope of these terms and this site’s privacy policy.
