The X One 2 and the iFast are both gone from Qidi’s product catalogue, along with the Plus 4 on some listings. Qidi’s current range is the Q1 Pro, Q2, Plus4, Plus5 and Max4, and the machine that best matches what an X One buyer wanted is the Q1 Pro: 245 x 245 x 240 mm, a 350 degC nozzle, a 120 degC bed and independent chamber heating to 60 degC, in a compact 477 x 467 x 489 mm body. Buy an X One 2 or iFast only used and cheap.

Qidi has always sold enclosed machines aimed at engineering materials rather than at speed contests, and it iterates its range quickly. The X One 2 and iFast were both part of that lineage, and both have been superseded.

Note the pattern: every serious Qidi has an actively heated chamber. That is the brand’s actual differentiator, and it is why their machines handle ABS, ASA and nylon more comfortably than similarly priced competitors that merely enclose the print.

Which one replaces what

If you wanted an X One 2, you wanted a small, simple, enclosed machine. The X-Smart 3 is the compact option at 175 x 180 x 170 mm and 10.5 kg; the Q1 Pro is the better machine if you can fit it, because 350 degC and a heated chamber put engineering materials genuinely in reach.

If you wanted an iFast, you wanted a larger dual-material workhorse. The X-Max 3 is the size answer at 325 x 325 x 315 mm with a 65 degC active chamber, a carbon air filter and Klipper firmware. Buying either used

Both are heavy, well-built machines, which is in their favour. Against them: aging hotends, older firmware and slow speeds by current standards. Check the chamber seals and door hinges, ask about the hotend and nozzle history, and expect to source parts from the secondary market rather than from Qidi.
