What Qidi is for

Engineering filaments. Every current model has an actively heated chamber and a 350 °C or hotter nozzle, which is the entry ticket for nylon, PC, PPA and their fibre blends; see PA-CF. Bambu offers this only in the H2 series, Creality only in the K2 Plus. If your parts are PLA and PETG, a Qidi is over-specified and a Bambu or Creality with better software is the easier life.

  • Qidi Slicer and firmware are less polished than Bambu Studio; Klipper root access partly compensates.
  • Chamber heaters add power draw and a warm-up wait.
