Qidi Q1 Pro: The Heated-Chamber CoreXY That Started Qidi’s Run

The Q1 Pro is a 245 × 245 × 240 mm enclosed CoreXY with a 350 °C hotend, 120 °C bed and a 60 °C actively heated chamber at a price that undercut every other heated-chamber machine. It prints nylon, PC and fibre blends that passive enclosures struggle with. Qidi has replaced it with the Q2 (270 × 270 × 256 mm, 65 °C, 370 °C); buy the Q2 new, the Q1 Pro discounted or used.

Why the chamber matters
A passive enclosure like the Bambu P1S or Creality K1C sits around 40 °C. At 60 °C, nylon and polycarbonate stop cracking between layers and ABS stops lifting at full bed size. Combined with a 350 °C hotend, the Q1 Pro handles PAHT-CF, PET-CF and PA12-CF that a 300 °C machine cannot. See nylon printing.
Where it falls short
- 245 mm is slightly smaller than the 256 mm class; check your largest part.
- Qidi Slicer is an OrcaSlicer fork; the ecosystem is smaller than Bambu’s.
- Owner reports mention firmware rough edges on early units and a chamber heater that needs its own power budget.
Q1 Pro or Q2
The Q2 keeps the same 600 mm/s toolhead and CoreXY layout, raises the chamber from 60 to 65 °C and the hotend from 350 to 370 °C, and grows the bed to 270 × 270 × 256 mm. Qidi keeps spares for the Q1 Pro. A discounted Q1 Pro remains a strong engineering-filament machine; at similar prices, the Q2. See Qidi upgrades for parts that span the range.
The units in the box
The Q1 Pro is largely sold through; the listings are the Q2, the Q2 Combo with Qidi Box and the Plus 4 for the larger option.
FAQ
Can the Q1 Pro print PEEK? No; 350 °C and 60 °C are below PEEK requirements.
Does the Q1 Pro need the door open for PLA? Open the door or turn the chamber heater off; PLA prefers a cool chamber.
