Creality K1 error 2119 means the printer asked the accelerometer to identify itself and got back a value that is not the expected one. The message shows both numbers. Creality’s own text says this usually indicates a connection problem such as a wiring fault, or a faulty chip — and in that order, because wiring is far more common.
An identity check is the very first thing a driver does, so this fails before any measurement is attempted.

Where to buy
What a wrong ID actually means
The chip has a fixed identifier burned into it. Reading something else means the data arriving is corrupted, not that a different chip is fitted. Corrupted data over a short exchange is the signature of a marginal connection, not of silicon that has died.
Check the loom, then the mount
The accelerometer sits on the print head and shares the moving loom. Reseat both ends, then flex the cable while retrying. A fault you can provoke by moving the cable has identified itself. While you are there, check the module is firmly attached rather than hanging on its wires.
Look for a value of zero or all ones
If the number read back is zero or the maximum, the line is stuck rather than noisy: nothing is driving it. That usually means an open circuit or a connector that is not making contact at all, which is easier to find than intermittent noise.
How Creality K1 error 2119 relates to its siblings
A register write that does not read back is 2065. No usable measurement data at all is 2056. This one is the identity check, which runs earliest of the three. All three point at the same cable before they point at the same chip, and the hardware link failing outright is 111.
What you lose meanwhile
Input shaping calibration only. Ordinary printing continues, but keep speeds conservative until resonance can be measured again, because the tuning that makes K1 speeds usable is exactly what is unavailable. Untuned speed shows up as layer shifting and ringing.
Creality K1 Error 2119 FAQ
Could a different accelerometer have been fitted?
Only if someone replaced the hotend board with a non-standard part. On a stock machine, a wrong ID means corrupted data.
Is replacing the board necessary?
Not until wiring is ruled out. Creality lists the connection problem first for good reason.
Can I still print?
Yes, without input shaping. Slow the profile down rather than running tuned speeds untuned.
Does the hex value in the message help?
Only in the broad sense described above: zero or all ones suggests a dead line, anything else suggests noise.
Once the chip has been found and configured, the next thing that can fail is reading its buffer. That is Creality K1 error 2118, and it means most of the chain already works.
