Sovol SV08: The Voron 2.4 You Do Not Have to Build

The SV08 is a 350 × 350 × 345 mm CoreXY derived from the open-source Voron 2.4, 90 percent pre-assembled, with four independent Z motors, a 300 °C hotend, 100 °C bed, 700 mm/s and 40000 mm/s². It is the most printer per dollar at 350 mm for someone comfortable with Klipper and a screwdriver. It is not enclosed and not a beginner machine. Sovol also sells the SV08 Max at 500 mm cubed.

Who it is for
People who want Voron performance and openness without the build, and who will tune it. Owners routinely flash mainline Klipper, run input shaping calibration and swap the hotend; see SV08 upgrades. The reward is a 350 mm machine that prints PLA and PETG very fast and very well.
Who it is not for
- Anyone who wants to press print on day one. The Bambu P1S and P2S are that machine.
- ABS and ASA users without the enclosure kit; the open frame warps them.
- Users who need support tickets answered quickly; Sovol’s support is community-heavy.
SV08 or SV08 Max
The Max is the same architecture at 500 × 500 × 500 mm. It is for large PLA and PETG parts and inherits the same tuning expectations at a scale where a moving-gantry CoreXY is the only sane design. See the Sovol lineup.
The units in the box
The listings are the SV08, the SV08 Max and the Creality K1 Max as the enclosed 300 mm alternative.
FAQ
Is the SV08 a real Voron? It is Voron 2.4 derived and open source, not a Voron kit; parts are mostly interchangeable in concept, not always in dimension.
Does the SV08 support a hardened nozzle? Yes; the stock hotend takes standard nozzles.
