HMS 0C00-0300-0002-001C: Nozzle Covered With Jammed Material on the H2 and X2D

HMS 0C00-0300-0002-001C means your nozzle seems to be covered with jammed or clogged material. It is word for word the same message as the other nozzle-covered code, raised for the H2 and X2D pairing instead, so if you arrived from that article you are not in the wrong place.
It is worth saying plainly that Bambu uses one sentence for two codes here. The remedy is shared; the hardware around it is not.

Where to buy
Try cleaning filament before dismantling
On a machine where the hotend comes out as an assembly, pushing cleaning filament through at temperature is a genuinely easier first attempt than taking anything apart. It drags carbonised residue out behind it, and if it works you have saved yourself an hour.
Then clear the outside, hot
A blob around the tip is welded to the nozzle and to the silicone around it while cold. Bring it up to temperature and take the mass off in pieces rather than pulling at it. The X1-side version of this job is in HMS 0C00-0300-0002-000E.
Protect your hands with something rated
Use gloves with a temperature rating printed on them and a cuff long enough to cover your forearm, because the chamber is hot as well as the nozzle. Thin gloves sold for kitchen or styling work are not the same category of protection.
Then check the bore
Once the outside is clean, a 0.4 mm cleaning needle pushed through at temperature tells you whether the blockage was only external. If it will not pass, you have a partial clog as well as a blob, and the causes are in a clogged nozzle.
Why HMS 0C00-0300-0002-001C exists separately
Different machines, different toolheads, different service procedure, same symptom. Bambu could have shared one code and chose to split them, which at least tells you which manual applies. The cleaning procedure itself is in nozzle cleaning.
What causes it in the first place
A torn or slipped silicone sock, nine times in ten. Material creeps onto the heater block, cooks, and grows. Fitting a new sock after a nozzle change is the whole of the prevention, and the extrusion failure it leads to is HMS 0C00-0300-0003-0010.
HMS 0C00-0300-0002-001C FAQ
Is this different from the other nozzle-covered code?
Same message, different machine pairing. Use the one that matches your printer.
Can I keep printing?
No. The mass drags across the part and makes the mess worse.
Cold or hot removal?
Hot, and in pieces. Cold removal takes the sock with it.
Will cleaning filament alone fix it?
Sometimes, if the blockage is internal. It will not remove an external blob.
