HMS 07FE-6000-0002-0001 means the external spool connected to the left extruder may be tangled or jammed. The extruder is pulling and the filament is not coming, and on an external spool the cause is almost always on the spool rather than in the machine.
A tangle happens when a loose end slips under a turn. It is invisible until the pull reaches it, which is why this appears mid-print.

Where to buy
Let the spool turn freely
A spool holder on bearings removes most of the force the extruder has to overcome. A spool dragging on a plastic post needs real tension to move, and tension is what pulls a loose end tight into a knot.
Keep the spool somewhere stable
A sealed filament storage box with a humidity readout stops the filament swelling and getting brittle between prints. Brittle filament snaps inside the tube, which reads as a jam from the extruder side.
Keep the box actually dry
Silica gel packets are the consumable that makes a storage box work. A box with exhausted desiccant is a box, and the readout is how you know which one you have.
Then unwind and rewind by hand
Take the spool off, find the crossed turn and wind it back under tension. Clip the end into the spool rim afterwards: that one habit prevents most of these.
How HMS 07FE-6000-0002-0001 differs from a runout
Filament that has genuinely finished is HMS 07FE-7000-0002-0003. A tangle means there is plenty left and none of it is arriving.
When the jam is inside the head instead
Debris in the toolhead reports HMS 07FE-8000-0001-0001. Storage is covered in filament dryers, drying filament and desiccant choices.
HMS 07FE-6000-0002-0001 FAQ
Why only the external spool?
Because it has no enclosure to keep tension predictable.
Can I resume after untangling?
Usually, if the head has not moved. Check the seam.
Does dry filament tangle less?
It snaps less, which is most of what gets called a tangle.
Do bearings really matter?
On a long print with an external spool, measurably.
Storage conditions decide how filament behaves. HMS 0700-9600-0002-0002 means the ambient temperature around the AMS is too low for drying, which is a message about your room rather than about the machine.
