Creality K1 error 2527 means that after the levelling probe triggered, serial packet loss left the motor step data incomplete. The important detail is that the trigger happened: the nozzle touched, the sensor noticed, and the information about where it happened got lost on the way back. That points squarely at data transmission rather than at the sensor or the mechanics.
A touch that registers and a position that does not is a very specific failure, and it has a short suspect list.

Where to buy
The sensor is working, so skip it
Do not clean the nozzle, wash the plate or lubricate the Z axis in response to this code. All of those fix other levelling faults and none of them fix a lost packet. The probe did its job.
Reseat the lead and flex it
The sensor lead runs down the moving loom with everything else. Reseat both ends with the machine unplugged, then flex the cable while retrying levelling. A fault that comes and goes as you move the loom has told you where it lives.
Then interference
Packets corrupted rather than absent point at electrical noise. If the loom has been re-routed near the bed power wiring during a repair, or something is cable-tied to the heater leads that was not before, put it back and retry.
How Creality K1 error 2527 differs from 2523
Both are transmission faults during levelling, and 2523 is the broader one: data lost mid-measurement, which can also mean the Z axis stuck. This code is narrower, because the trigger already happened, so a stuck axis is ruled out. If you have this one specifically, the mechanical branch does not apply.
The rest of the family, briefly
Data that does not respond to force is 2522. Readings that will not converge over twenty attempts are 2529. Each has a different test and a different fix, which is why reading the exact number pays off more here than anywhere else on the machine. How force probing works at all is in bed levelling sensors.
Creality K1 Error 2527 FAQ
Is my sensor failing?
Probably not. It detected the touch. The problem is downstream of that.
Should I retry levelling?
Once. A single lost packet happens. A pattern is a fault.
Can I level manually instead?
No. The K1 has no manual path that bypasses the force sensor.
Does this damage anything?
No. The printer discards an incomplete measurement rather than using a wrong one, which is the correct behaviour.
