Creality K1 Error 2345: Hotbed MCU Connection Timeout

Creality K1 error 2345 means communication with the bed controller timed out. The link is there and answered too slowly. Unlike the print head version, this cable does not flex during printing, so flex fatigue is unlikely — heat, current and whoever last worked under the machine are the real suspects.
That single difference redirects the whole investigation, which is why the two codes are worth telling apart.

Where to buy
Unplug at the wall before looking
The bed side carries the highest current in the machine. Never inspect it live, and treat a warm-looking connector as a finding rather than a curiosity.
Look for heat marks, not wear
Because nothing moves, a break from flexing is improbable. What does happen is a connector degrading under heat cycling: discolouration, a browned pad, insulation darkened near a terminal. Any of those means resistance, and resistance at bed current gets worse on its own.
Then reseat the whole path
Both ends of the harness and any intermediate connector. Press each fully home and check the latch. A terminal that looks tarnished is where the fault lives even if it feels tight.
Why Creality K1 error 2345 is not a heating fault
This is the control link, not the heater. A bed that simply fails to reach temperature reports as 2565, where the high-current solder joint is the first suspect. A bed link reported as abnormal rather than slow is 112. Three different messages, three different starting points, one area of the machine.
The pattern worth noticing
If this appears only while the bed is heating, you are looking at the supply or a joint that heats up under load. If it appears at any time, the connection itself is marginal. The print head equivalent, with its very different cause list, is 2344.
Creality K1 Error 2345 FAQ
Can I print without bed heating?
No, and this fault stops the printer anyway. Adhesion depends on a heated bed for every common material.
It appeared after I changed the build plate. Related?
Changing a sheet should not touch wiring, but anything that involved lifting the bed assembly might have. Check the harness routing underneath.
Is a discoloured connector dangerous?
Treat it as such. A high-current joint that is heating will keep getting hotter until repaired properly.
Could mains voltage cause it?
A sagging supply makes everything marginal when the bed draws current. Plug the printer directly into a wall socket as a test, and check your targets against bed temperature while you are there.
The plainer message for the same bed harness is Creality K1 error 2562, with a one-line remedy attached: check the wiring connection and restart.
