Creality K1 Error 112: Hot Bed MCU Connection Abnormal

Creality K1 error 112 means the hardware connection to the hot bed MCU is abnormal. The bed has its own small controller, and the main board cannot reach it. Unlike the print head link, this cable does not flex during printing, so fatigue is unlikely. Heat, current and whoever last worked under the machine are the real suspects.
That difference matters, because it sends you to a different set of checks than the ones that fix head-side faults.
Where to buy
Unplug at the wall before you look
The bed side carries the highest current in the machine. Treat it with more respect than the signal wiring elsewhere, and never inspect it with the printer live.
Look for heat marks, not wear marks
Because the cable does not move, a break from flexing is improbable. What does happen is connectors degrading under heat cycling: discolouration, a browned pad, insulation that has darkened near a terminal. Any of those means resistance, and resistance at bed current gets worse on its own.
Then reseat everything on the path
Both ends of the harness, and any intermediate connector. Push each one fully home and check the latch. If a terminal looks tarnished, that contact is where the fault lives even if it feels tight.
Why Creality K1 error 112 is not a heating fault
This is the control link, not the heater. If the bed simply fails to reach temperature, the printer says so separately as 2565, where the high-current solder joint is the first suspect. If the bed sensor reports an impossible value, that is 2510. All three can come from the same area of the machine and none of them is the same job.
Its place among the connection codes
The K1 reports each controller link separately: the main board as 110, the print head as 111, and the bed as this one. Reading which board is unreachable tells you which third of the machine to open, and that is most of the diagnosis done for you.

Can I print without bed heating?
No, and this fault stops the printer anyway. Adhesion depends on a heated bed for every common material.

Changing a sheet should not touch the wiring, but anything that involved lifting or moving the bed assembly might have. Check the harness routing underneath.
Is a discoloured connector dangerous?
Treat it as such. A high-current joint that is heating up will keep getting hotter until it is repaired properly.
Does this affect all K1 models?
The family shares the split-controller design, so K1, K1C, K1 SE and K1 Max all report it this way. Parts differ by variant.
