The Kobra 3 Combo is a 250 × 250 × 260 mm open bedslinger with a 300 °C hotend, 600 mm/s, 20000 mm/s² and the ACE Pro, a four-spool feeder that dries filament. It was Anycubic’s answer to the Bambu A1 Combo. It prints PLA, PETG and TPU; the open frame excludes ABS. Anycubic now lists the Kobra X as its current multi-colour bedslinger, and Amazon stock of the Kobra 3 Combo has thinned.

Where it stands against the A1 Combo
Same size class, same open frame, same single-nozzle purge-based multi-colour. The Kobra 3 has the drying feeder, which the A1’s AMS lite lacks; the A1 has the more complete auto-calibration and the Bambu ecosystem. Limits
- Open frame: ABS and ASA warp. An aftermarket enclosure helps for small parts.
- Bedslinger at 600 mm/s means practical speeds well under the headline.
- Manual Z-offset after auto levelling; a bad first layer is usually that.
Kobra 3 or Kobra X
Anycubic’s current listings push the Kobra X and Kobra X Combo with the ACE 2 Pro. Treat the Kobra 3 Combo as the previous generation: a good buy discounted, but check firmware support before paying full price. Drying in the ACE Pro remains the family’s standout feature.
