Short answer

The Live View camera is not returning images, which disables spaghetti and chute pileup detection. The print itself is unaffected — but you have lost the safety net that catches a failed print early.

Bambu reports a failure to get an image from the Live View camera, with spaghetti and waste chute pileup detection unavailable. This is a monitoring fault, not a printing fault, and the machine will usually keep going.

Affected machines: H2, P2S, X1 series, X2D.

Decide whether to keep printing

That decision depends on how long the print is and whether anyone is around. Spaghetti detection exists because a print that detaches keeps extruding into open air for hours. On a twenty-minute job with someone in the room, carry on. On an overnight print, stop and fix the camera first.

Most likely cause

Camera module not initialising or not reachable over the network

The fix
  1. Restart the printer from the menu. A clean restart clears most one-off camera pipeline faults.
  2. Check the network. On these machines the camera stream and the AI features depend on the connection, and a weak signal produces exactly this error.
  3. Move the printer closer to the access point, or check whether it dropped to a congested 2.4 GHz channel.
  4. Check the camera lens is not obstructed or fogged. Enclosed machines running ABS build a film on the lens over time.
  5. Update firmware. Camera pipeline faults are a common target for fixes.
  6. If it persists across restarts and a firmware update, the camera module or its ribbon cable needs attention.
