The extrusion force sensor is returning a signal the controller does not trust. This sensor is how the machine feels resistance in the filament path, so losing it loses jam detection as well as calibration.

Why a blockage can fake a sensor fault
This sensor measures how hard the extruder is pushing. That is how the printer notices a jam before it ruins a print. But the relationship works in both directions: a genuine blockage puts the reading far outside its normal band, and the firmware cannot always tell an impossible reading from a broken sensor.
So clearing the filament path is not a detour on the way to diagnosing this code. It is part of the diagnosis, and it is the step most likely to make the code go away.
