The original Centauri Carbon has no official multi-colour system and no AMS-style port; third-party single-nozzle changers exist but are unsupported. Elegoo’s answer is the Centauri Carbon 2 Combo, an updated printer bundled with a four-spool filament system. If multi-colour is the goal, buy the Carbon 2 Combo, a Bambu Combo or a Creality K2 with CFS rather than trying to retrofit the original.

How single-nozzle multi-colour works
All these systems, including Bambu’s AMS and Creality’s CFS, feed one filament at a time into one nozzle and purge the old colour out before the new one prints. A four-colour part spends filament and time on every change; on small models the purge can exceed the model’s own weight. What the Carbon 2 Combo changes
Beyond the filament system, Elegoo revised the printer itself. Buyers of the original Centauri Carbon cannot bolt the new system on; it is a new-machine purchase. For owners of the original, the honest options are manual colour-by-layer changes or living with single colour and using the money on filament.
