Under $200 list price buys exactly one class of machine: an open bedslinger with auto levelling, a 260 °C hotend and Marlin firmware, printing PLA and some PETG at modest speed. The Creality Ender-3 V3 SE and Elegoo Neptune 4 are the two that are worth it; kids’ printers like the Tina2S are the other honest option. Everything else at this price is an older design or a compromise. The A1 mini and Ender-3 V3 KE sit just above and are meaningfully better.
