Prusa CORE One vs Bambu X1C: Heated Chamber or Lidar

The CORE One+ has an actively heated 55 °C chamber, a taller 270 mm Z, the INDX toolchanger option and fully open hardware and firmware. The X1C has lidar first-layer inspection, a 300 °C hotend, the AMS ecosystem and Bambu Studio. For engineering filaments and long-term repairability, the CORE One+. For multi-colour and the least tuning, the X1C, or more sensibly the P2S at the same size.

- Lidar first-layer inspection for unattended production.
- Ecosystem. Bambu Studio, MakerWorld, and accessories everywhere.
- Out-of-box calibration; the CORE One is close but PrusaSlicer profiles need more attention on third-party filament.
Decision
