Large resin printers run 10 to 14-inch screens: the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra (218.88 × 122.88 × 220 mm, 12K), Anycubic M7 Pro (223 × 126 × 230 mm, 14K), Phrozen Sonic Mighty 8K (218 × 123 × 235 mm) and the 13.6-inch Anycubic M7 Max (298 × 165 × 300 mm, 7K). Bigger plates print more figures per run or larger single pieces, but pixel size grows unless the screen resolution climbs with it, resin volume per fill rises, and peel forces on a full plate increase. Buy 10-inch for armies; 13-inch only for busts and props.
Uncured resin is a skin and respiratory irritant. Wear nitrile gloves and eye protection, ventilate, wash in IPA in a covered container, and fully cure before handling. Never pour resin or wash down a drain.

What size costs in resin printing
- Pixel size. A 7K screen at 13.6 inches gives 46 µm pixels, coarser than a 7-inch 9K at 18 µm. Big is not automatically detailed.
- Resin per fill. A 13-inch vat holds several times a 7-inch vat; a failed print wastes more.
- Peel force. A full plate of models pulls hard on the film; supports and exposure need care. Tilt release on the Saturn 4 Ultra helps.
- Wash and cure. Stations must fit the plate; budget for the larger kit.
Who needs it
Painters producing units of twenty or more figures per run, makers of 75 mm and larger display pieces, and prop builders wanting one-piece resin parts.
