HMS 0C00-0100-0001-0009 — Chamber camera dirty
Short answer

HMS 0C00-0100-0001-0009 is about as terse as these messages get: the chamber camera is dirty. That is the camera watching the build volume rather than the one beside the nozzle, and cleaning it restores the monitoring features that depend on seeing the plate clearly.

Knowing which camera it means saves you cleaning the wrong lens and wondering why nothing changed.

Four words, one job, and a different lens from the toolhead one.

Find the chamber camera first

It looks across the build volume rather than down at the nozzle, so it is mounted away from the toolhead. If you clean a lens and the code persists, you have probably cleaned the toolhead camera, which reports separately as HMS 0C00-0100-0001-0004.

What settles on it

A chamber camera does not take purge spatter directly, so what it collects is airborne dust and, in an enclosed printer running hot materials, a thin film of condensed plasticiser. Dust blows off; film needs a solvent. Isopropyl alcohol at high strength on a microfiber lens cloth lifts it without leaving a haze, which 70 % solutions tend to do.

Clean the enclosure glass too

If the camera looks out through a panel, that panel is part of the optical path and it gets handled far more often than the lens does. Fingerprints on the inside of a door do the same thing to an image as dirt on the lens itself, and they are easier to miss. Surface options for the plate it looks at are in Bambu build plates.

What HMS 0C00-0100-0001-0009 degrades

The chamber view is what remote monitoring and the AI defect checks use, so a dirty lens makes those less reliable before it disables them. Spaghetti detection in particular depends on a clear view of the plate — that code is HMS 0C00-0300-0003-0008.

The cloth matters

Use a microfiber cloth kept for optics and nothing else. One that has wiped a build plate carries release agent and filament grit, and both end up smeared across the lens. What the cameras do in general is in 3D printer cameras.

HMS 0C00-0100-0001-0009 FAQ

Does it stop printing?

No. It degrades monitoring rather than blocking the job.

Which camera is it exactly?

The one viewing the build volume, not the toolhead-mounted one.

Why does it return quickly?

An enclosed chamber running hot materials deposits film faster than an open one.

Can I disable the warning?

Better to clean it. The features it affects are the ones that catch a failing print early.
