HMS 0C00-0100-0001-0005 means the micro lidar OTP parameter is abnormal. OTP stands for one-time programmable: calibration values written into the module at the factory and never meant to change. If the printer cannot read them sensibly, that is a hardware matter and support is the honest answer.
I would rather say that plainly than pretend there is a clever fix. There is not one.

Where to buy
Do the two free checks, then stop
Power the machine down at the switch and bring it back up, and reseat the lidar connector with the power off. A read failure on a good module can come from a poor contact. Beyond that there is nothing on your side of the problem.
Gather what support will ask for
The exact code, your firmware version, when it started, and whether anything was replaced recently. A handheld magnifier makes reading the tiny serial and revision markings on the module a thirty-second job instead of a squinting match.
Meanwhile, set flow by hand
Without the lidar you lose automatic flow calibration, not printing. Print a test block, measure the walls with a digital caliper, and adjust flow until the measurement matches the slicer. It is the method everyone used before lidar existed and it still works.
Use a filament you know
Calibrating by hand on an unfamiliar spool means fighting two unknowns at once. A plain PLA you have printed before gives you a baseline you can trust, and Bambu Lab PLA or any well-characterised spool is fine for the purpose.
Why HMS 0C00-0100-0001-0005 cannot be user-fixed
One-time programmable means exactly that. The values were burned in at manufacture, there is no interface to rewrite them, and a module whose factory data is unreadable is a module to be replaced. The replacement will then report HMS 0C00-0200-0001-0005, which is the normal welcome message.
What you will see in prints meanwhile
Thin walls and gaps if your flow is low, over-full corners if it is high. The symptoms and the manual fixes are in under-extrusion and gappy walls, and the related timing fault is HMS 0C00-0100-0001-0003.
HMS 0C00-0100-0001-0005 FAQ
Can I reset the parameters?
No. One-time programmable data cannot be rewritten in the field.
Is the module definitely faulty?
Usually, but reseat the connector first because a read failure can be a contact failure.
Can I print without it?
Yes. You lose automatic flow calibration and do it by measurement instead.
Is it covered by warranty?
Ask support with the code and your purchase date. It is a manufacturing data fault, not wear.
