HMS 0300-2700-0001-0006 — Significant deviation in calibration
Short answer

HMS 0300-2700-0001-0006 means a significant deviation was found during nozzle offset calibration, caused by incorrect installation of the nozzle or of the heating base. The routine completed; it simply produced a result too far from expectation to accept.

That is a useful distinction. The sensor is working, so the fault is in what it measured.

The calibration ran. The number it produced is not believable.

Where to buy

Refit the nozzle to a known torque

Hand-tight means something different on every hand and on every day. A torque screwdriver set to the figure in the manual puts the nozzle at the same height every time, which is the whole point of a repeatable offset.

Check the heating base fasteners

A heating base held by one stretched or wrong-length fastener sits at an angle, and the offset it produces is correspondingly wrong. A small assortment of correct metric screws and washers is worth having on the shelf before you need one at eleven at night.

Measure the deviation rather than guessing it

A dial indicator on a magnetic base turns “it looks tilted” into a number you can act on, and it tells you whether the error is tilt or height. Those two have different fixes, and the message does not distinguish them for you.

Rerun, then compare

Run the calibration again after refitting and compare the result with the one that triggered the message. A number that has moved a long way confirms the mechanical cause; one that has not points at the measurement path. The sequence is in calibrating a 3D printer.

How HMS 0300-2700-0001-0006 differs from a sensor fault

A frequency complaint such as HMS 0300-2700-0001-0001 says the sensor is suspect. This code says the sensor read something real and the mechanics are wrong, which is a cheaper problem.

If the nozzle will not sit right

Material baked around the nozzle shoulder stops it seating, and that alone can produce a large deviation. The related weak-signal case is HMS 0300-2700-0001-0008, and first-layer consequences are covered in first layer problems.

HMS 0300-2700-0001-0006 FAQ

How much deviation is significant?

Enough that the firmware refuses it. Treat it as a mechanical fault, not a tolerance.

Can I override and print?

You can print, but with an offset the machine itself does not trust.

Hot or cold when refitting the nozzle?

Follow the manual for your machine. Most want it torqued hot.

Does the build plate matter here?

Not directly. This measures nozzle to sensor, not nozzle to plate.
