The A2L is the big A-series printer: 330 × 320 × 325 mm on an open bedslinger frame, 300 °C hotend, 80 °C bed, 500 mm/s and a servo extruder with nozzle-pressure sensing. It is for large PLA, PETG and TPU parts at a lower price than an enclosed machine of that size. The 80 °C bed and open frame rule out ABS and ASA at this scale.

What the numbers mean
The A2L is a large-format machine built for the materials that do not need an enclosure. On a 330 mm bed, an 80 °C heatbed is fine for PLA and workable for PETG with a textured plate and a brim; ABS at this size warps on any open frame, so it is not a compromise Bambu is hiding, it is the design. The servo extruder and pressure sensing are the same approach that makes the A1 series print clean corners without tuning.

- Cosplay, helmets, large organisers and signage in PLA or PETG that would otherwise be glued from 256 mm sections.
- Users who want the AMS 2 Pro drying on an open-frame printer.
- Farms that print PLA in volume and want a big bed per dollar.
