Creality Hi Build Plate: The 265 by 280 mm Plate, and Which Replacements Fit

The Creality Hi takes a plate about 265 by 280 mm, sized for its 260 by 260 mm bed, and neither the Ender 3 nor the K1 plates fit. Buy a textured or double-sided PEI plate listed for the Hi. The Hi is an open bed-slinger, so PLA, PETG and TPU are its materials, and textured PEI handles all three without glue.
The Hi is Creality’s open-frame, multi-material bed-slinger with a bed between Ender 3 and K1 Max size, which means its plate is its own size and replacements must be listed for it. The stock plate is a double-sided matte PEI. Because the Hi prints PLA and PETG in the open, the plate wears slowly; the usual reason to replace it is PETG damage to the smooth side or wanting a spare so you can swap while one cools.
Where to buy
What to check
- Listed for the Creality Hi, about 265 by 280 mm. Ender 3 plates are 235 mm; K1 Max plates are square and larger.
- Double-sided gives textured and smooth on one sheet, matching the stock plate.
- Spring steel 0.5 mm or thicker.
- Coating thickness stated.
Surface by material on the Hi
- PLA: textured or smooth PEI, 55 to 60 °C.
- PETG: textured side only, 70 to 80 °C. PETG on the smooth side needs glue stick or it tears the coating.
- TPU: textured side, 40 to 50 °C, from the external spool holder rather than the CFS.
- ABS and ASA: not on an open Hi without an enclosure; see surfaces and the enclosure guide.
The plates in the box
Creality’s official Hi double-sided matte PEI plate is the direct replacement; the two 265 by 280 mm gold PEI plates are third-party textured options, one as a two-pack for keeping a spare.
Swapping
- Wash with dish soap; do not touch the surface after.
- Seat against the rear stop on the magnetic bed.
- Run the Hi’s auto-leveling; a new plate changes the Z-offset slightly and the probe accounts for it.
- If the first layer fails, wash again before changing anything.
FAQ
Do Ender 3 V3 plates fit the Hi? No; smaller.
Textured or smooth for PLA on the Hi? Either. Smooth gives gloss; textured forgives a slightly high Z-offset.
Why did the smooth side lose its coating? PETG removed hot. Use the textured side for PETG.
