Key figures for Flashforge 3D Printers: Adventurer 5M, 5M Pro, AD5X and the Rest: 220 mm bed, 280 °C nozzle.
Short answer

Flashforge’s current consumer range is the Adventurer 5M family: the open 5M, the enclosed and filtered 5M Pro, and the four-colour AD5X, all 220 mm CoreXY. The Adventurer 3 and 4, Creator Pro and Finder are legacy. The Creator 5 Pro is a four-toolhead machine aimed at workshops. Buy the 5M for value, the 5M Pro for fumes and ABS, the AD5X for multi-colour.

Which one

What the family is not

A high-temperature engineering platform. The 5M family stops at 280 °C and has no heated chamber, so nylon and PC belong on a Qidi Q-series or Bambu H2S. The legacy Adventurer 3 and 4 still work but are slow Marlin-era machines; buying one new makes little sense next to a 5M.

The units in the box

The listings are the Adventurer 5M, the 5M Pro and the AD5X.

FAQ

Do Adventurer 3 nozzles fit the 5M? No; different hotend families.

Is Flash Print required? No; Orca Flashforge and OrcaSlicer profiles exist.
