HMS 0700-3000-0001-0001 — AMS RFID board error
Short answer

HMS 0700-3000-0001-0001 means the RFID board between AMS slot 1 and slot 2 has an error. One board reads the tags for both of those slots, so the fault should affect exactly two slots and leave the other two working.

That symmetry is the fastest test you have: if slots 3 and 4 still read their spools, the board is the right suspect.

One board serves two slots, which tells you how to confirm it.

Where to buy

Read a tag yourself

A USB contactless reader lets you check a spool tag away from the machine. If the tag reads on a desk and not in the AMS, the board is at fault rather than the spool.

Keep blank tags for testing

A pack of NTAG stickers gives you a known-good tag to present to each slot in turn. Testing with a suspect spool proves nothing about either.

Be ready for a reflow, not a replacement

No-clean flux paste is what you need before touching an antenna connection on a small board. Most RFID board faults are a cracked joint rather than a dead chip, and flux is what makes that repair stick.

Then test the slots in pairs

Load a tagged spool into slot 1, then slot 2, then 3 and 4. Two failing and two working confirms the board the message names.

How HMS 0700-3000-0001-0001 differs from a motor fault

A slot that will not feed is HMS 0700-1000-0002-0004. This code is about reading the spool, not moving the filament.

Another board-level signal in the unit

A buffer position error is HMS 0700-4000-0002-0002. The system is covered in printers with an AMS and AMS versus AMS Lite.

HMS 0700-3000-0001-0001 FAQ

Can I print without RFID?

Yes. You set the material by hand instead.

Does it affect all four slots?

It should affect two. That is the test.

Is a third-party spool the cause?

Unlikely for a board error. Untagged spools just read nothing.

Will a restart clear it?

If it does and returns, the joint is cracked rather than open.

Not every rejection is a hardware fault. HMS 0500-0400-0001-0004 means the print file is unauthorized: the bytes are perfectly readable and what the printer objects to is where the file came from.
